Starfish Bead- Turquoise Silver Plate

After selling out almost overnight in gold + turquoise, we just knew we had to get this cutie in silver! Because starfish are able to regrow limbs, they have long been a symbol of resilience and tenacity. And, with five limbs, they are a metaphor for the Five Elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether (Space).

A starfish can also represent fun and beach and umbrellas and vacation! As Kate would say, "You do you!".

Measurements: 10.5x10.7mm IHD: 1.5mm. It will string on 1.0mm leather, Chinese Knotting Cord and multiple strands of Waxed Linen or Regular C-Lon.

Project Ideas: This bead could easily work in any Across Cultures bracelet design or a design based on Macramé. Enamel is on one side only.
