Inspiration for this project came from the turkey feathers found everywhere in Emily’s neighborhood, as well as observing the turkeys themselves. Many of their feathers have a lovely iridescence, only visible in the sunshine...Emily mimics the shapes, designs, and colors Mother Nature gave to these creatures in her embroidery stitches and bead selection.

Rather than bead by bead directions, Bead Embroidery can be somewhat freeform or experimental, but it does help to have a bit of guidance, or at least a place to start and stop! Emily is here to guide us through it!
