Are you ready to dive in and showcase your SuperDuo skills? One of Drea’s favorite beads, the tiny two-holed SuperDuo is on full display in this classic beadshop project. In the Octopus’s Garden sample, we see deep blues and grays and a hint of purple and flash of bronze...just like in a real octopus’s garden. Ringo Starr was on a boat in Sardinia (with Peter Sellers, no less!) when he learned about the curious habit of octopuses creating “gardens” by dragging stones and shiny objects to their home to decorate. Sounds a bit like us beaders, don’t you think?

-Construction Notes: Created in the original Seashore style, Drea’s samples have three key differences. 1. This is a three-wrap bracelet instead of a two-wrap, but as always, make your bracelet as long or as short as your heart desires! 2. Instead of four rows of 8/0s between the SuperDuo “diamonds,” Drea has just three. 3. Drea added dangles...who doesn’t love MORE treasures to show off?

-Color Note: In Octopus’s Garden, Drea separated the colors in the SuperDuos- Crystal Grey Rainbow mix, giving her four colors total for her SuperDuo “diamonds.”

-Needle Notes: The Micro C-Lon is not easy to thread onto the Size 10 needles. On Air, Kate uses the Big Eye Needles. Use glue to make self-needles, try Flexible Eye Needles, make your own needle...definitely choose what is easiest for you!

-Dangle Notes: You do you! Some Charms and all Tiny Tassels do not come with a Jump Ring, so make sure to pick up a pack if needed. Drea didn’t, and so she wire-wrapped hers since she also had briolettes. It’s entirely up to you how you want them to look!
