Project and Sample by Emily Miller
Known for fooling quite a few prospectors back in the Gold Rush glory days of the American West, Pyrite is a sought-after mineral with a golden luster and natural beauty. You won’t need gold to turn heads with this beautiful brooch!
Bead Embroidery is one of our most requested techniques…set aside the time to watch Emily and Kate use a classic Pyrite Pi gemstone disc to explore some of the stitches used to bezel and embellish, then learn how secure a pin back. This is just the beginning of working with beads and fiber in embroidery! Several of the methods Emily uses can be applied to bead woven designs, as well.
For easy shopping, click the Shop Tab above, enter the desired quantities, and add each to your cart. Be sure to check out our other samples and Recipe Page, and enjoy making bracelets of your own!
Please join us as our worldwide community gathers on Facebook at 10:30am Pacific Time on March 28, 2018. It’s so much fun to go live with us and bead together! After the live broadcast the video will be available in the Video Tab above.
