Poetry in Green Tea

Handout How to Macramé

Project Info:

Level: All Levels

Estimated time: Weekend Project

By Janice Parsons

From every corner of the world, aromatic teas are grown and hand-picked, one leaf at a time. Reading about how the green leaves go through the oxidation process inspired Janice to create a Poetry in a range of greens to mirror the natural oxidation process the tea must experience to get its flavors. If you love green even half as much as Janice does, this sample will appeal to you. And if you have the heart to part with it after you’ve made it, don’t forget to give it in an organza bag!

We rated this an all-level project and estimate a beginner beader would need 4-5 hours to make. The technique used is the macramé square knot. Please download the companion handout for instructions.
