Golden Gate Fog- June 2019

Being a San Francisco native, Cara has a keen appreciation for the color and brilliance of the view of the bay and the Golden Gate Bridge from the edge of Baker Beach. When compiling this amazing mix of Miyuki beads Cara remarked, “Mark Twain once said that the coldest winter he ever spent was a summer in San Francisco! ...Although there’s word that he never said that.” And it’s true! Those foggy days bring a chill to the air that one “from away” may not expect.

This mix, Golden Gate Fog, captures so perfectly the mood and memories so many of us have of the heavy gray fog rolling in and just small bits of the iconic bridge peeking through. Every bead was chosen with care for its color, size, and shape. Because this is a limited-edition mix, we recommend that you purchase it early in June as they go fast!
