Made in Japan by Miyuki, the leader in high-quality glass seed beads, Tila Beads measure 5x5x1.9 mm and have two parallel 0.8mm holes. Like other Japanese seed beads made by Miyuki, Tila Beads are uniform in size and shape. Packaged in cute, easy-store tubes, there are between 85-95 beads per tube, depending on the weight of the coating applied to the bead. Prices vary also due to cost of coatings. For macramé use: C-Lon, Micro C-Lon, Tuff #1 or 3; all fit through the hole size nicely. For seed beadwork, Superlon D or Micro C-Lon.
