Project and Sample by Emily Miller
Taking inspiration from the Shanghai skyline, Emily mixes a classic red-turquoise combination taken from the bustling city's palette. With a fringe that’s just to die for, these earrings swing like paper lanterns. An architectural brick stitch base creates the “lantern,” where Emily really pushes the boundaries of brick stitch: mixing multiple sizes, shapes, materials. Skip the fringe for a simpler earring or use a single Lantern as a pendant…the possibilities are limited only by your creativity.
