Project and Sample by Emily Miller

Emily wears her heart on her sleeve! She loves seed beads and wants you to love them, too. So here is a tempting project to inspire: a rich red textured heart for you or your sweetie. Using brick stitch and a mix of gleaming colors, make a heart that is perfect for a pendant, a pin, a bookmark…or will you use it for something else? Brick stitch lends itself naturally to this particular shape, and we’ll use the 'two-drop' technique to speed up the process.

Additional Learning: Check out our recipe page to create a design in colors you choose, too!

Originally a kit, many of the bead colors used in this kit are no longer available...but any mix of red will do! We've added some suggestions to the stoppable windows above, but you can find all the colors available using the linked ingredient list.
