CUSTOM MIX OF SEED BEADS AND PADRES
February is Black History Month and Karen chose to create a monthly mix inspired by one of the world’s leading black writers and poets, Maya Angelou. Her most famous poem, Still I Rise, was recited by Nelson Mandela in 1994 at his presidential inauguration in South Africa. It begins with:
“You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I'll rise.”Maya Angelou
Isn’t that amazing? Karen has tried to recreate the strength, hope, and power in this curated collection of earthtones. Each bead was chosen with care for its color, size, and shape.
