Project and Sample by Janice Parsons

Tell Dad how much you love him with this simple design…Aged Czech beads in bold colors mix together with leather and a boho button for a look that’s easygoing and effortless. It’s an easy design done with traditional laddering. If you’re not sure of the length, add a second button loop…the average size for a man’s wrist is 8.5”.

Janice uses Zap Glue to stiffen the ends of her C-Lon to create self-needles, allowing her to ladder with ease. Use your Collapsible Eye Needle to bring your C-Lon ends back up and under your macrame knots, securing them without a need for glue. To see this trick in action, watch Kate demonstrate while making Copper Verdigris about one hour into the episode. You can also see photos and the technique described on Page 7 of the Episode Notes.
