Ancient Clay

This bead is a global classic! Originally the inspiration for our Gypsy Bracelet, it has been difficult to source until recently. We’re thrilled it’s back. Measuring in size from 2-10mm in length, these little terracotta beads look like tiny coils. Handmade in Mali, they have been baked in the sun, but not glazed. It is hard to difficult these Clay beads as they are still finding them at Dig Sites that are hundreds, if not, thousands of years old. With their natural vibe, they are great for designs that blend tribal and trade. Expect a wide variety of sizes and shapes. Hole sizes also vary but will fit 4 Ply Waxed Linen or Regular C-Lon.
