White - Tuff Cord

White - Tuff Cord

1/4 Oz. Spool Made By Eurotool
Unit: Spool

This American-made cord seems to have a million uses and it is known for being stronger than nylon or silk. Made of 3 synthetic fibers twisted for strength, it is not going to stretch over time. It also resists fraying and shredding and is a favorite of many designers. It can be used without a needle and you will not have the frustration of the end needing to be cut all the time for threading. If you want to double it, we recommend one of our flexible eye needles.

Size 0 (.0078") is super fine and can be used for seed bead stitching, extra-fine pearl knotting and repairing of antique jewelry which requires serioulsy small thread size. 145 yards/spool

Size 1 (.0108”) is great for micro-macramé projects using pearls, gems and fine crystals. 98 yards/spool

Size 2 (.0132") is a hard-to-find size which works wonders for laddering Swarovski crystal pearls. 66 yards/spool

Size 3 (.0162”) is popular for micro-macramé and macramé projects and stringing stone, glass, metal and natural beads. 49 yards/spool

Size 5 (.0216") is extremely popular for many standard-thickness macramé. This is a nice, heavier cord that can stand up to tribal beads, big glass and stone. 33 yards/spool

Size 6 (.0288") is heavy-duty and ready to take on almost any larger or heavier beads. 24 yards/spool

Size 7 (.0348") is a thicker cord perfect for laddering with heavy beads and beads with large openings. 18 yards/spool
