Made in Venice and taken to “the New World” by explorers, the shape of this bead became very popular in Native American beading; It was used for braiding into the hair of ponies (how it got its name) and for stringing onto leather lacing of jackets, aprons and medicine pouches. This color is quite rare and we probably will not be able to reorder. Most of the holes will fit up to 2.0mm leather or several passes of linen or C-lon.
Sold in package of 19-20 beads.
