Made in Venice and taken to “the New World” by explorers, the shape of this bead became very popular in Native American beading; It was used for braiding into the hair of ponies (how it got its name) and for stringing onto leather lacing of jackets, aprons and medicine pouches. This beautiful blue color is still sought after today and we may not be able to reorder. Most of the holes will fit up to 1.5mm leather or several passes of linen or C-Lon. Beads are irregular in shape and finish. Expect variations.
Sold in package of 10 beads.
