Brought to Africa and then “the New World” via Spanish traders between the 16th and 18th centuries, the original “Padre Beads” got their name because they were given as gifts by missionaries to local peoples in both Africa and the Americas. These black glass beads are new but have all the right bumps and nubs like the old ones. We are not sure of their age, so we suggest grabbing them while supply lasts. Expect variations in size and shape.
Sold by the strand in approximately 22-24 inches in length.
