One of the most popular glass beads of the Victorian and Flapper eras, Purple Iris has a magical finish which coats the entire bead. On some facets, the coating looks purple, on others it is metallic bronze...and yet others it is deep green. Iris refers to the coating on the glass that gives the beads an unusual, antique feeling. They really are amazing and they are made today as they were more than a hundred years ago. With a generous 1mm hole (you can easily thread C-lon or Tuff Cord #5 through twice), it makes laddering and weaving easy as can be.
Sold on strands of approximately 25 beads. Measures 6 inches in length when strung.
