Dominated by a pattern reminiscent of a warrior’s shield, this design reminds us of a strong woman living in Mexico in the times of the Aztec Empire, more than 600 hundred years ago. Although made of brass, bronze was the metal used during the times of the Aztec for both household implements and artifacts. The design on this button is so striking; we would recommend it on a wide cuff, where you can really appreciate its pattern. Each button has some wear and tear on the back. Shank hole measures 2.5mm. Button diameter is about the size of a quarter. See how Azteca in looks in a favorite project, Grand Canyon.
