Famous in the 1970’s and 80’s for her paintings, textiles and jewelry, Laurel Burch was a California designer who loved the intricate designs of Chinese cloisonné. She created enamel jewelry she sold at art fairs in San Francisco....before she became super famous. This button feels like an ode to Laurel, who passed away in 2007. Made in America of 100% pewter, it is lead safe and nickel free. The generous shank will easily accommodate up to 2mm leather.
