10.5-12mm African Glass Beads IHD:2.1mm
These beads are the color of a mesmerizing and deep cobalt blue, reminding us of sleek Bluefish swimming along. For hundreds of years, the Krobo Tribe of Ghana have been making these organically-shaped beads. Using a method of first grinding glass to powder, the glass is then heated and poured into clay molds. A leaf from the Cassava tree is placed in the center to form the hole. When the glass is done baking, the leaf disappears and you have a bead! Color and size may vary from one batch to another. We like mixing this with Tide’s Out in Marina. Imported from Africa.
Sold in package of 5 beads.
