10-13mm African Glass Beads, IHD: Appx 2mm
This deep blue is calling to us! The Krobo People of Ghana has been making these beads for hundreds of years, recycling glass. Using a method of first grinding the glass to powder, the glass is then heated and poured into clay molds. A leaf from the Cassava tree is placed in the center to form the hole. When the glass is done baking, the leaf disappears and you have a bead! Color may vary from one batch to another. We like mixing this with Tide’s Out in Marina. Imported from Africa.
Pleas note this batch is smaller than our usual inventory. Bead measures 7 x 8mm
Sold in package of 5 beads.
