This guide is very general. Unfortunately, hole sizes are not standardized. This is a rough estimate based on experience. We would always recommend getting several different sizes of the same color so that if one doesn’t work, you’ll have a back-up.

If you don’t see what you want to string listed, then we’re really telling you NOT to use Griffin for your project! This is silk and is not meant for lampwork, wood, metal, shell or any beads which can “scratch” the thread as you string. It is also not intended for a beading project where weight is a consideration. Use Beadalon or another stringing wire instead.
