We take great joy in filling your orders with care and love; each order is carefully picked and then gift wrapped so that you like opening your package as much as we enjoyed filling it. We work Monday-Friday and we strive to get all orders out in 2 business days. Of course, Priority and Express Orders receive our immediate attention and jump to the front of the queue. We hope as little as possible, BUT we want to be transparent and accurate on how long processing, shipping and transit times take. We process orders Monday through Friday, 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. PST.
If you order on Monday, your package will more than likely ship on Wednesday. If you order on Friday, it usually goes out Monday afternoon. So, that’s 2 business days. Please remember, Sundays and all US holidays will slow up the delivery time of your package. But for First Class Orders within the US, the transit time, after it leaves our studio, is about 3-4 business days. So, we can safely say, on most US orders, you can expect your First Class Package to arrive within 7-9 days from the day you ordered. We can’t promise, but that is generally the case.
Of course, to every guideline is an exception. Sorry, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Guam and orders going to APO/FP addresses, they can take 10 additional days to arrive.
We use the United States Postal Service for shipping 99% of all our US. Within the US, the Postal Service goes everywhere, they are reliable and the most affordable...and they deliver on Saturdays. If you choose Free Shipping, we will ship your order to you via First Class Mail by the USPS.
$6. If you want your order tracked and time is more critical, we recommend you choose our Priority Mail option.
Orders over $200 are FREE: For all domestic orders totaling over $200, we throw in the cost of Priority Mail ($6) and automatically upgrade you! Your order total, after any discounts or credits must be over $200. Any taxes paid on the order do not go towards the $200.
For all US orders weighing over 13 ounces, the Postal Service requires we ship it Priority Mail. So if you select Free First Class but we find your order weighs more than 13 ounces, we don’t charge you for Priority Mail. We automatically upgrade you! For First Class Orders to Canada, this 13 ounce limit does not apply. Sorry!
$25 If you want to get it fast, this is the method of shipping to choose.
We love you, World! And we want to be your bead store, even though we are miles away. We know you have choices in where you shop, so we try to make this as easy as possible.
So when there’s a hold-up, it usually means it’s sitting in Customs. The tracking number for your order is included in your confirmation email, but it’s frustrating when we can’t pinpoint it perfectly. We will always do what we can to help you locate it if time is dragging. And usually, the minute we look into it, it shows up!
$25 To get to Canada fast and the rest of the world internationally, it all goes Priority International. We work hard to get your order out quickly, because we are just as excited for you to receive your beads as you are!
FREE That’s right! Orders over $300 to Canada and the world ship free Priority International. For all international orders totaling over $300, we will pay the cost of Priority Mail ($25) and automatically upgrade you! Your order total, after any discounts or credits, must be over $300.
*We are also not responsible for import taxes and/or duties once it reaches the country of destination. We declare all products on the International Shipping Forms as Merchandise and categorize them “Arts and Crafts Supplies”.
$45 We do everything we can to get your express order out the door that day or, at most, the next. If you don’t receive a confirmation email about the order, please contact us and we will be happy to give you an update.

After your order has been shipped, you will receive an email providing the tracking number as well as information on how to track your package. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam/junk folder. If you still don’t have a confirmation email, contact us and we will be happy to resend the email with the tracking information.
Absolutely. We are happy to ship to PO Boxes, however, please make sure if there is both a PO Box number and a street address that needs to be included for the package to reach you, have them on two lines when checking out.
Yes, our employees need a break too, so beadshop.com is closed in observance of the following holidays: January 1, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We also close at 2 P.M. (PST) on Thanksgiving Eve and New Year's Eve.
Not happy with your purchase? Of course we want to make it right. We accept returns within 30 days for a full refund (minus shipping costs, if any charges applied). Over 30 days, we will issue store credit. If you change your mind about your order, we can cancel it only BEFORE we ship it. Please call us immediately if you decide to cancel your order (650 474-0101). If your order has already left our office, you can refuse it and return it. All orders shipped and refused are subject to 20% re-stocking fee plus our cost to ship to you. We will refund your credit card the difference once it is returned. Please attach a copy of your invoice (and a brief note to explain, as your feedback is appreciated) with the unwanted items in their original condition within a padded envelope to the address provided below.
